We have had some really great activity on the north wing of the structure during the last week or so. The final ridge beam was raised by Jerimiah and his crew. Unfortunatly we missed the raising, but it was done the “old fashioned way” without the assistance of any modern equipment. Just Man power and a come-a-long. It looks great and we are more excited than you would think to see it sitting perfectly
- Here is the support post and the ridge beam covering the unimproved section of the old cabin
- my first panarama shot with my new camera
- The new roof shell over top of the chackteau
- shed dormer will be added here where the boys are standing.
- I love to have people in the pictures, it really shows how tall the building is.
- really nice end of summer day
- looking up to the new ridge beem. must be hundreds of lbs. and about 2 feet thick.
- isn’t it beautiful?
- because we can only building the shell of the north section right now, we needed to raise the ridge beem to meet the main ridge beem for engineering/ cost control purposes.
